Originally from Warwick, Jordan joined the Functional Health team in 2019. His strong sporting background meant he settled into the Gold Coast’s active lifestyle particularly well. Jordan threw himself into Gold Coast local sport, lending his physiotherapy skills to Bond University AFL, Griffith Knights Rugby Union & Broadbeach Cricket & AFL Club. A strong sportsman himself, Jordan is playing 1st grade cricket for Broadbeach, as a top order batsman and bowls the occasional pie.
Studied a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in Brisbane and completed a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University, Jordan is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and unpack even the most complex cases. His hands-on approach to physiotherapy is reflected in his patients results. Never satisfied with his knowledge, Jordan always looks to keep up to date with the latest research, treatment techniques and technology. This quest to continuously become a better practitioner has gained him a fantastic reputation amongst fellow Gold Coast medical and health professionals.
In his time at Functional Health Jordan has helped his patients attain fast and permanent results, in particular with musculoskeletal issues such as, Neck pain, Knee & Shoulder Issues. In addition, Jordan is a Vestibular Physiotherapist and has a passion for treating patients with vertigo, dizziness and balance disorders with vestibular rehabilitation. He has particular interest in rehabilitation of Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and BPPV management. He has a special interest in this area and has completed extensive post-graduate training.
